Robert L. Vaughan Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship is available to students based on the following criteria: First preference shall be residents of the Tidewater region of Virginia and/or the state of North Carolina. Recipients shall demonstrate good academic standing by maintaining a GPA of 2.5 or the minimum required by the University and/or Athletics Department, whichever is higher. The student must be majoring in Physical Education. The recipient shall demonstrate a financial need. This scholarship shall be limited to a single student demonstrating financial need. The value of this award shall not exceed the equivalent cost of the academic year’s tuition and fees. Students must be full time. A student who is a recipient one year is eligible for consideration in any other year provided they continue to meet the selectin criteria.
