Mumtaz B. Khan Memorial Scholarship

This fund shall provide twelve (12) $500 scholarships for qualified students as defined in the selection criteria listed below. Ten (10) $500 scholarships will be awarded to students majoring in any of the STEM programs. Two (2) $500 scholarships will be awarded to students majoring in Business and Economics programs. Selection Criteria: Recipient( s) shall: Be a student in good standing at Elizabeth City State University; Maintain a minimum 3. 0 grade point average; Freshmen are eligible to receive this scholarship; Students receiving the scholarship one year may be eligible to receive it again so long as they continue to meet the criteria; Recipients should be from rural* North Carolina, rural* Louisiana, or rural areas of Bangladesh; Ten (10) of the recipients shall be majoring in one of the STEM degree programs; Two (2) of the recipients shall be majoring in one of the Business and Economics degree programs. *Rural as defined by the USDA
