Willis Sr. And Josephine McPherson Ferebee Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship is available to undergraduate students who meet the following criteria: Students must be a graduate of Camden, Currituck, Gates, Pasquotank or Perquimans counties in North Carolina; demonstrate financial need; be committed to earning a baccalaureate degree from Elizabeth City State University and carrying a semester course load of a minimum of 12 credit hours; and have and maintain a grade point average of at least 2.5. The scholarship award will be apart of recipients Financial Aid package that is presented to them, and if they remain at the University, will be eligible to retain this scholarship throughout their tenure as a student (not to exceed four years) as long as they continue to meet the scholarship criteria. Funds can be used to defray any costs associated with the student’s educational program at ECSU. This would include tuition, books and other fees.
