Richard Henry Pitt and Susie Thorpe Pitt Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship is available based on the following: Applicants must complete an application and submit an essay about their interest in higher education. Two reference letters are required. One letter must be from an academic instructor who is familiar with the applicant’s academic achievements and the second from an individual who can speak to the applicant’s character. The applicant must submit a copy of their high school transcript. In addition, the applicant must be accepted to ECSU; be a citizen of Edgecombe County, North Carolina; be enrolled as a full-time student; have a high school grade point average of 3.0 and SAT score of 1100 and be ranked in the top twenty-five percent of the graduating class.
