Virginia Lawrence Houston Senior Education Award

Must have a minimum overall GPA of 3.00 at the time of graduation and be in good standing with ECSU. Must have earned 75 or more academic credits at ECSU.
Must graduate in 4½ years or less of continuous study at ECSU. Must pass the PRAXIS EXAM while a student at ECSU. Must have completed student teaching in Elizabeth City-
Pasquotank Public Schools (ECPPS) before graduation. Must exhibit excellent communication skills and demonstrate an understanding of creative and effective classroom management.
