Choir Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship may be awarded to incoming freshmen and current students participating in the University Choir with a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester. Student must maintain 2.5 or higher GPA and display a work ethic conducive for leadership and excellence. Be enrolled full-time at Elizabeth City State University and in good academic standing. Exhibit strong moral character and ethical behavior in accordance with the standards outlined in ECSU’s Student Handbook, Catalog, and Student Code of Conduct. Maintain satisfactory academic progress and demonstrate consistent progress toward degree completion throughout the academic year. Successfully complete an audition during the scheduled audition period. Auditions must be conducted by the designated faculty member: Choir students must audition before the Choir Director or their designee. Meet all required performance, wardrobe, and conduct obligations as determined by the ensemble’s leadership. Demonstrate financial need, as determined by the ECSU Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships. Be an active participant in the University Choir.
